I am Juli Patten and I am serving as Vice President on the WELCA Board.
I was a little involved in WELCA in Hawaii until I applied for a scholarship to convention.
I attended as a delegate and was elected to serve on the board. When God calls we need to
listen. I have really enjoyed my time serving on the board and have changed from a woman
of faith to a Bold woman of faith. The women I have met have helped me grow not only in
my faith but also personally. I am a member of Maluhia Lutheran Church in Hawaii. I lead a
women's bible study, am editor for our church newsletter and serve on our church board.
I have been a teacher for 23 years and love sharing , growing and learning with my students.
I am also the Leeward Chapter President of the Hawaii State Teachers Association.
I am passionate an committed to my faith and my profession.
I am married to my wonderful husband Jeff, he supports me on all levels in the choices I make.
I have four beautiful almost grown children, my foster daughter Tiara who is 22, my stepson
Adrian who is 21 , my daughter Aime'e who is 18 , and my baby A'lisha who is 12.
I love the color yellow and am a my cup is overflowing kind of girl. I love to read and swim in any type of water!
My favorite saying is the grass is green the sky is blue what could be bad, in Hawaii that is almost always true!
